Sorted 3 – a combination of task + schedule manager

In the morning, when we open our task manager: we are greeted with a list of tasks waiting for our eyes and attention. Sometime my tasks are list of items that I need to do throughout the day without any time-frame, But this can get better with this beautiful and elegantly designed app: Sorted 3 , it helps in prioritizing tasks and events with time required to complete each of the important tasks.

This app is easy to use, fluid and well designed for this time of multitasking.

Recently, after reading – Deep work by Cal Newport I have started time-blocking for key tasks and events, this is where Sorted 3 shines, in every aspects.

Sorted 3 is a player in the game of managing your tasks, events, notes and scheduling — it does it effortlessly.

Sorted 3 – greets you with an unified timeline of tasks, events (notes) which helps you plan your day, helps you in identifying priority and decision making.

The major differentiation with Sorted 3 and other task manager is its ability to take notes inside Tasks – not just notes but detailed notes with lots of data, checklist or sub-task, pictures and attachment etc. This comes really handy when you have to do it with your mobile device.

Sorted 3 also helps in scheduling by auto schedule, it has additional feature of auto scheduling your day – you need to provide start and end time and the app will schedule your day based on your input like buffer and tentative duration of the tasks or events.

Sorted 3 – is also different in terms of handling notes inside the tasks, you can reorganize, divide the tasks from the main task and make them separate tasks.

It also helps by merging your tasks, manage folders and lists, tags.

Pls note that some of the features mentioned above are in PRO version like attachments, reorganize, auto schedule etc but you can alway try the free version to get feel of the app.

2022 — is my year of ‘Build Your Own System’

And one major idea I am working on is — not every tasks inside my task manager is as important as it seems and I am planning to have only ‘important and meaningful tasks inside my task manager’

Also trying to allot specific time and duration to that task — not everything can be your priority. Plan prioritize and decide on your task and then only put it inside your tasks + calendar — as everyone says ‘your calendar is your sacred territory’

Sorted 3 looks like an good option but only available on Apple Ecosystem, however I am trying my best to stick with it.
