are you obsessed with productivity? yes, I am.

I am just exploring the personal productivity space and still it is kind of new experience and the excitement is at its peak;

A lot to do, to learn, to understand and practice.

Not only that, but I am just a year old published creator as well, that means I have started publishing my content online on Medium from last one year only.

I was and still am 24x7 living as a writer as a content creator and that’s not possible to be. I am sure many of you agree on that. That is like a lot to process;

To give an example; below is just a list of all the things that I want to do: Anytime of the day

  • Medium blog writings
  • 2 E-book to complete and publish
  • First novel — keep working on
  • First poetry book to publish in this year
  • Learn JavaScript
  • Learn Coda and Coda pack building
  • Start working on first business idea
  • Build Newsletter

this list is excluding anything from my reading list and professional activities. Yes, I have a full-time job as a business development manager as well.

having so many things in the head does not help and also takes a lot of mind space and to be clear with the priorities I have listed out everything I wanted to do.

The question is not only How to handle the situation?

It is also the positive pressure we got from the influencer and productivity experts on being top of the game as we consume the content.

Positive pressure and positive stress is helpful and mostly that has always worked out in my favor and still helping; though with the constant urge of having so many things to do and accomplish, it is really being difficult to be mindful about the situation and the people around us.

To be better and mindful about situation and self, I am trying to overcome this constant urge of being extra productive at every moment.

While going thru my twitter feed; I came across the following tweet from @_alexbrogan

One of the best thread I read in recent time;

Out of all the mental model I really enjoyed and co-relate with these 5:

  1. Decomplication — look out for simple solutions
  2. High-Leverage Activities — act with focus on Output
  3. Get into the Flow — Start slow and keep going
  4. Block your time for Deep work — Use Calendar
  5. Build Systems — Goal will follow

I am trying to build my day and priorities around these mental models and experiment.

The goal is to be most productive while being mindful.

Thanks for reading,

Keep reading, keep sharing.
