Meet Joi Planner — a refreshing addition to the productivity landscape that promises to make every task or habit a most beautiful experience. Dive into my first impressions and discover how this elegant app could be your secret weapon for a more productive and fulfilling year ahead.

Joi Planner
Minimalistic daily planner

The moment I opened Joi Planner, I was greeted by a clean and intuitive user interface. Its soothing color palette and straightforward layout create an inviting atmosphere, making it easy to navigate through the app’s features. At first glance, Joi Planner feels like a minimalist’s dream — everything you need is right at your fingertips, devoid of unnecessary clutter.

The app features three main sections: Meetings, Habits, and Tasks. Each section is designed thoughtfully, with the user experience clearly at the forefront.

Before we dive into the main section of tasks and planner. Joi is a super simple, intuitive and one of the best designed app. You will love every interaction with this app and it starts with the simple and straight forward integration with Apple Calendar.

To start with Joi, app will ask for Wake Up & Wind Down and it will be part of your daily view. Simple gestures are the gems of this aesthetically pleasing app. Swiping down will bring you the most beautiful and pleasing Daily Overview in a single and simple time-line.

With Pro Plan which will cost you 4.99 UDS a month or 42.99 USD annually (much higher for a simple and beautiful to-do list) you can connect with Apple Health too and use additional features like Reminders and Notifications.

Tasks, Events & Habits:

As such, Joi offers a too minimalistic approach to task management with basic functionality. When we compare it to traditional player like Todoist, it feels way behind in terms of functionalities like recurring tasks, projects or sub-tasks, priority or label and many more.

However, the best part of Joi is the design. Joi is one of the best designed app in this segment and you will love and appreciate the simplicity and design language throughout the app usage.

I love the idea of having a single platform to manage tasks, event and habits and Joi offers just that. Nothing more. A simple interface with all three option and access to your calendar makes it the most simple and useful daily app for any productivity enthusiast.

In conclusion, Joi Planner feels like it has been designed with the user’s needs in mind, balancing functionality with simplicity. It’s a powerful tool for anyone looking to enhance their organizational skills, develop new habits, and manage their time more effectively. I’m excited to continue using it (definitely free plan) and see how it impacts my productivity and personal development in the long run.
