Navigating the sea of productivity tools can be overwhelming. With countless options for managing notes, projects, and to-dos, it's tough to find one that truly fits your needs. I happen to gone thru with so many of best of apps for example; Notion, Coda, Reflect, Mem, Craft, Capacities & many more to list..

My journey with Tana, a project management app, has been a testament to this struggle. Tana isn't just another app; it's a robust platform that offers much more than you initially expect. However, this complexity is both its strength and its weakness .

I first encountered Tana when I was looking to streamline my workflow. The app's unique features, like Supertags and inter-linked nodes, immediately caught my attention. Supertags, in particular, are a game-changer, allowing you to assign multiple fields to tags and transform nodes into the base of your tables and databases. This isn't as simple as it sounds, though. It requires a bit of patience and effort to set up, but once you do, the possibilities are endless.

As of now, I am doing both. Using an amazing template from Cortex Futura (Tanarian Brain) and also learning on building my own 'Project & CRM workflow'

Daily notes have become an indispensable part of my routine, serving as a repository for key events and project updates. Tana excels in this area, offering a seamless integration of daily notes and project management. The recent Calendar integration has further enhanced its capabilities, making it easier to manage priorities and tasks efficiently.

Meeting notes are another crucial aspect of my workflow. In Tana, I use a supertag for meeting notes within my daily notes section, ensuring that all relevant details are captured and easily accessible. Also, the magic happens with the meeting agents in Tana, I am experimenting with it and so far I am finding it useful and time saving.

Despite its steep learning curve, Tana has proven to be an invaluable resource for managing projects and tasks. It's not for everyone, though. The app demands a commitment to learning and adapting, which not all users may be willing to invest. But for those who are, Tana offers a powerful suite of tools that can transform the way you manage your projects.

In conclusion, while Tana's complexity can be a hurdle, its capabilities are vast. With patience and persistence, it can become an essential part of your productivity toolkit. For me, Tana has become more than just an app; it's a cornerstone of my daily workflow.

This is not just a blog post but a commitment. To use and master Tana as my 'Productivity Partner' and share my learning while doing so.

Tana has also become my only 'Capture Tool - both voice and text' and will be sharing my detailed experience in the next blog post soon.
