Best decision of 2022

going for Reflect.app for all my notetaking with Task and AI Support.

I am very passionate about productivity tools and apps, so I am always willing to try something new. When I first encountered Reflect.app, I was surprised by the cost of the app for personal use, which is quite expensive.

I invested two weeks of my time to test the product, and I was so impressed that I wrote an article about my experience and why I chose it, which I published on Medium.

Here’s one more to establish my best decision of 2022.

This time there are 2 reasons:

1. Task Integration (still in beta)
2. AI Support

Task Integration

I am an avid supporter of task management within notes, which helps me make better notes and keep track of my tasks right from the notes.

I have appreciated this feature in Mem.ai and, based on my initial experience with reflect.app, I am looking forward to making the most of it.

The thing that I like the most about Task integration is that it works both ways.
- From your notes
- From your tasks

You can create, edit and organize your tasks from both sides, which was not the case with Mem.ai and Reflect.app makes it much easier and beneficial for the user.

AI Support

I was not particularly thrilled about the AI Extension, but when I saw the tweet today, I was elated to try it out with Reflect.app. I had not expected to get AI Extension when I switched from Mem.ai (Mem X) to Reflect.app, so this was a pleasant surprise.

So, without wasting any moment further, Let’s dive into it:

• You can easily bring AI support inside Reflect.app by using Ctrl + J (Windows). The options will guide you through key takeaways, action items, spelling and grammar fixes, writing a short or long summary, rephrasing your writing, suggesting a few tweets based on your writing, creating an outline, and generating an email based on your writing.

Here’s a few examples of AI Support and its capabilities.

You can use the highlighting feature in the Reflect app to access AI Support as well.

I’m really excited to use Reflect.app AI’s comprehensive capabilities to boost my writing and increase my efficiency.

I feel more secure and self-assured when I am certain that I have made the right decision, and this app gives me that assurance. I am grateful to the Reflect.app team for creating such a straightforward, user-friendly, and secure application.
