A better calendar — Cron
Design your day with ‘Best Designed Calendar, Cron
Working from your calendar is the most productive decision I made last year.
With this in mind, I am open to all possible apps and systems that can help me in this journey, so I am exploring the players in this ‘Calendar Space.’
One of my daily drivers, Amie has changed how I spend and schedule my day; now I am looking at Cron, a better calendar.
And the experience is IT’S ABOUT TIME.
Cron
The overall experience of this simple, very intuitive application makes Cron a better calendar. Especially, the iOS app offers an amazing super experience on a mobile device, loved it.
I really fall in love with the simplicity of this design.
Clean, fast, amazing sync, and beautiful widgets are the key reasons for my switch to Cron.
I have my reasons to share with you in this blog about Cron but what I have realized about scheduling is:
The calendar offers you a very limited space to plan, which is the best thing you can do to be mindfully productive. With limited space, you are forced to look at your day in different ways than that thru the eyes of your task manager.
There is no inbox in your calendar where you can simply dump all your tasks, you have to go thru conscious decision-making while planning from your calendar and that’s where a better calendar like Cron truly shines.
This does not mean that I don’t use a to-do list, however, the purpose of using a to-do list is slightly different. A to-do list is there to do 2 things primarily, keeping a list of things to do — project and time specific and handling follow-up emails and call like a reminder.
For this, Todoist is the go-to app.
What Makes Cron — my daily planner?
- Simple, intuitive design and interface.
- Plan your repeating priorities.
- Block your events in another calendar.
- Color code your events.
- Excellent sync with all the tasks from Todoist and shows in Calendar🗓️
- I can modify and schedule tasks from either Cron or Todoist and it works magically.
I am a fan of Amie.so and have posted exclusive articles as well; here’s the link:
However, I am moving to Cron just because I enjoy the simple, intuitive, and excellent design.
So, Hello — Cron.
